In valle di Muggio the combination of a beautiful landscape, typical products and ancient knowledge offers extraordinary experiences. The Bruzella Mill, surrounded by greenery and fed by the waters of the Breggia, is a must-see for those who want to discover the secrets of traditional stone milling, the history and flavors of its products. For the occasion a guided tour will be proposed followed by a tasting of red corn polenta accompanied by cheeses, cheeses and other products from the Valley.
Ticino red corn is a traditional variety recovered thanks to the efforts of Pro Specie Rara. It is intended for the production of polenta flour.
The mill is within walking distance of Bruzella, Cabbio or Casima in ca. 20 minutes.
